What Is the Purpose of A Survey Location Report?

A Surveyor Location Report is not an actual the survey, it is merely an inspection by the licensed surveyor stated his opinion that the building and major improvements appear to be located on the property described in the deed. A Surveyor Location Report is designed for use by title insurance companies for small tracts. Some lending institutes require this inspection to check for obvious problems with the parcel such as encroachments, violations of easements, or building setback lines.
