What Is the Purpose of A Survey Location Report?

A Surveyor Location Report is an inspection report. Prepared by the licensed surveyor stating his opinion that the building and major improvements appear to be located on the property described in the deed. A Surveyor Location Report is designed for use by title insurance companies for small tracts. Some lending institutions require this inspection to verify  that obvious problems with the parcel such as encroachments, violations of easements, or building setback lines do not exist.
